Habit's Auto-scrolling Paywall

I have always liked vertical scrolling onboarding and paywall designs, however the question always comes up from a client or stakeholder, "How will people know they can scroll this view?".

Vertical onboarding and paywalls are definitely not a new pattern and the scrolling discovery can be solved in many ways.

Today I want to share one that I thought was pretty delightful and surprising.

Auto-scrolling Paywall, wait for it...

When landing on the paywall for Habit for the first time we are met with a few elements. The two core elements of this view are the price and the core reasons to upgrade.

As I started to read the first and second item the app started to automatically scroll down exposing more compelling reasons to upgrade. The scroll delay took about four seconds to start and after letting it play for a few seconds I decided to finish by scrolling myself.

I love when products surprise me with the small things that feel so intuitive. Great job Habit!
